Allstate or any local Insurane Carrier, I have found from years of buying Insurance that all business insurance is pretty much the same, the only diference is in the QUALITY OF SERVICE from your local Insurance Agent. My recomendation is try on of those online search engines which offer quotes from 5 diferent agents, always shop first before you buy.

I use Nautilus Insurance Company for my electrical and handyman business. The rates are good and I’ve not had any trouble with them. I have no idea where you are located, but I use the Brown and Brown Agency in Pryor Oklahoma. I did have insurance with Farmers I had one claim and they cancelled me. There rates were higher than the rate I pay now shop around find a good local agent that other contractors are using.

My rates are amazing. Call Sean Telford 916-813-4242 at Hunter insurance. He takes care of all my LL, Bond, Auto, everything. And is always there when I have questions or an issue.

I am in the unique position of being a licensed Public Adjuster as well as a General Contractor and as such I get to see how hard insurers make it to collect on a valid claim. In my experience Allstate is the worst and i would recommend avoiding them at all costs. My business insurance is provided through USLI. I have found USLI to be reasonably priced and the service is excellent.

I have had a few different insurance companies with being in business for 30 years. I really like Erie Insurance, but my agent Trent Insurance are the best. They helped me choose what policies are the best for my needs and my clients. They are on the ball with sending out my certificates of insurances to my clients immediately and are always there to answer a questions and help you choose what insurance best works for you.

I have Erie Insurace & I’ve had them my whole time of being in buisness .

Depending on how many workers you have, you can choose certain plans that are a variable rate depending on the hours worked.

The Hardford is a great company to deal with - they are an affiliate to progressive. State Farm is also great as long as you can find a good agent.

I called a friend in the insurance buisness when I started, They recommended Builders Mutual Insurance. Later I began using Paychex for my accounting and they offerd to do an assessment of my insurance costs. They could not beat the Builders Mutual Insurance rates. I am in Virginia and they may only serviece the mid-Atlantic area.

Good local, independent agent is the key.

The Carrier that can give you the coverage in writing that your business needs, is the best one. Obviously larger underwriters are preferred…
