We are thinking about going into the micro housing market, it is already catching on the west coast and there is a micro condo project being built in new york. I was wondering if anyone has built this before in Miami or Florida?

When a client talks about luxury homes we may have a range in cost per square foot from $100 to $5000 per square foot in a size of a home as the one you are asking. You have to realize also where you are building this house and if it will be something that you will see a return in the future and not just throwing your money down the drain… An average per square foot here in Florida for a medium luxury project may go around $200 to $300.
As a native of Florida, and a contractor, my professional opinion on this subject would be there really is no answer. When you are talking about a luxury home, it doesn’t matter what size it will be, it is only as expensive as the materials used and the labor to install them. The more complex the plans are, the more expensive the home is.
